A high -qualification retailer will close several of its stores in Britain after avoiding the collapse.
Poundland received the Court's approval for an important restructuring plan on Tuesday after the company told a judge that the plan would prevent the delivery of the administration.
If the scheme had not been sanctioned, the company would have run out of money before September 7, lawyers told court.
In June, the retail retail chain said it planned to permanently close 68 stores after being sold by Pepco Group to Peach Bidco, a subsidiary of the private capital firm Gordon Brothers, for £ 1.
Poundland said he will close a total of 16 more stores, but that he has not yet identified his locations.
It is understood that it is likely that the closing dates for these will be announced later in the year, when store workers will be informed.
