Litecoin falls 11% in rout

Investing.com – Litecoin was trading at $80.238 at 14:53 (19:53 GMT) on the Investing.com Index on Tuesday, a daily decline of 10.57%. It was the biggest one-day percentage loss since Jan. 3.

The downward move pushed Litecoin's market capitalization to $6.141 billion, or 0.26% of the total cryptocurrency market capitalization. At its peak, Litecoin's market capitalization was $25.609 billion.

Litecoin had traded in a range of $80,040 to $91,785 in the previous twenty-four hours.

Over the past seven days, Litecoin has seen an increase in value as it gained 11.32%. The volume of Litecoin traded in the twenty-four hours as of this writing was $1.123 billion or 0.50% of the total volume of all cryptocurrencies. It has traded in a range of $70.7352 to $94.5214 in the last 7 days.

At its current price, Litecoin is still 80.90% below its all-time high of $420.00 set on December 12, 2017.

Bitcoin was last trading at $61,639.8 on the Investing.com index, down 7.44% on the day.

Ethereum was trading at $3,418.16 on the Investing.com index, a loss of 4.85%.

Bitcoin's market capitalization last stood at $1,214,569 billion or 51.92% of the total cryptocurrency market capitalization, while Ethereum's market capitalization rose to $416,458 billion or 17.80% of the total cryptocurrency market value.
