Litecoin falls 10% in liquidation by Investing.com


Investing.com – Litecoin was trading at $119.863 at 15:16 (2016 GMT) on the Investing.com index on Monday, down 10.18% on the day. It was the largest one-day percentage loss since December 9.

The downward move pushed Litecoin's market capitalization to $9.197 billion, or 0.26% of the total cryptocurrency market capitalization. At its peak, Litecoin's market capitalization was $25.609 billion.

Litecoin had traded in a range of $119,863 to $134,947 in the previous twenty-four hours.

Over the past seven days, Litecoin has seen a drop in value as it lost 8.13%. Litecoin volume traded in the twenty-four hours as of this writing was $1.201 billion or 0.52% of the total volume of all cryptocurrencies. It has traded in a range of $119.8633 to $146.4875 in the last 7 days.

At its current price, Litecoin is still 71.46% below its all-time high of $420.00 set on December 12, 2017.
