Ethereum drops 10% in bearish session according to Investing.com


Investing.com – Ethereum was trading at $2,898.17 at 23:12 (03:12 GMT) on the Investing.com index on Friday, down 10.25% on the day. It was the largest one-day percentage loss since November 9, 2022.

The downward movement caused Ethereum’s market cap to fall to $360.89 billion, or 17.62% of the total cryptocurrency market cap. At its highest level, Ethereum’s market cap was $569.58 billion.

Ethereum had been trading in a range of $2,896.05 to $3,108.66 in the previous twenty-four hours.

Over the past seven days, Ethereum has seen a drop in value as it lost 12.95%. The volume of Ethereum traded in the twenty-four hours up to the time of writing was $20.66 billion or 21.95% of the total volume of all cryptocurrencies. It has traded in a range of $2896.0498 to $3522.0027 over the past 7 days.

At its current price, Ethereum is still 40.42% below its all-time high of $4,864.06 set on November 10, 2021.

Bitcoin was last trading at $55,408.9 on the Investing.com index, down 6.05% on the day.

Tether USDt was trading at $1.0002 on the Investing.com index, up 0.09%.

Bitcoin's market cap was last at $1,104.18 billion or 53.90% of the total cryptocurrency market cap, while Tether USDt's market cap was at $112.45 billion or 5.49% of the total cryptocurrency market cap.
