The company previously alluded to price increases in its third quarter profit call, added that it expects a modest increase in Disney+ subscribers in its fourth fiscal quarter. Price increases occur when the entertainment company has faced intense scrutiny for its management of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” After Disney's subsidiary, ABC, withdrew the show last week for the controversial comments of the host about the alleged murderer of the conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
